Our Big Land, 2005The Romany Theatre Company Studio's 2005 production, Our Big Land went on a mini tour, and was received with wide acclaim. Through the story of one woman, Our Big Land touches on the history of Romany people and their journey. Including the exodus of 10,000 musicians, dancers, storytellers, herbalists and fortunetellers from India to Persia in the 5th century AD, their migration to Gt. Britain in the 16th century, the Holocaust and moves on to the plight of Romany people today. The story is told through drama, music, dance and song.
