Killimengro
the new play from the Romany Theatre Company Studio

Kilimengro is the true story of the last Gypsies to be executed in England simply for the crime of being Gypsies. Set in 1650's East Anglia, their tale unfolds through drama, music, song and dance and is partly performed in the Romani language.

The play is written and directed by Dan Allum, himself a Romany, with Roma actors in the cast. The show has a mix of traditional songs and music.

Killimengro toured the East Anglia region in June 2006 and then went on a mini national tour in late 2006. The show will be performed again at the following venues in 2007:
