Killimengro
the new play from the Romany Theatre Company Studio
Kilimengro is the true story of the last Gypsies to be executed in England simply for the crime of being Gypsies. Set in 1650's East Anglia, their tale unfolds through drama, music, song and dance and is partly performed in the Romani language.
The play is written and directed by Dan Allum, himself a Romany, with Roma actors in the cast.
The show has a mix of traditional songs and music.
