Future Projects

RTC aims to continue to work with young people from both Roma and non-Roma communities, to support their inclusion and participation in theatre, and also to work towards community cohesion, breaking down some of the barriers in society.

At the heart of RTC is the desire to produce strong inspirational high quality theatre which can reach people from different cultures, address issues, raise awareness and increase understanding, helping young people to realise their potential, and bringing diverse communities together. This underpins everything we plan for the future.

Studio
RTC toured with Killimengro during 2006/07. We are now developing a radio drama Atching Tan working with the BBC and local Gypsies and Travellers.

Academy UK
RTC's Academy UK 2007 will be based in Cambridgeshire, working with young people from around the East Anglia region.

Academy Europe
RTC will maintain and develop links with Roma projects around Europe.
